Marketing 1950’s and 1980’s Nostalgia

Marketing 1950’s nostalgia was big business in the 1970s. You see the same sort of thing today with the 1980s. As I am an 80s teenie bopper, I am partial to my decade, but I am a bit surprised that it still has a rather strong presence in the public consciousness, as it has been forty years now. I think it is slowly starting to subside now.
